Admissions
Suburban Technical School seeks students with a desire to enter health related fields and an ability to learn from training. Interest and motivation are important factors in determining the student’s degree of success.
Students will be accepted who are at least 17 years of age, have received a high school diploma (HSD) or equivalent (GED) and pass the Wonderlic Scholastic exam. Those without an HSD or GED who achieve a satisfactory grade on the entrance aptitude test and who are at least 17 years of age, may apply for admission to all programs by taking the ability to benefit test (Cpat). The applicant with no HSD or GED must achieve a minimum score on the Cpat test.
The school reserves the right to reject applicants on the basis of the personal interview and a review of the applicant’s background. If the applicant is under 18 years of age, the enrollment agreement must be signed by a parent or guardian.
